Best Thesis Awards

Sivagaminathan Sivasubramanian, Quantitative Research Analyst at EDHEC-Risk Institute, was awarded the research prize for his work on smart beta with his thesis entitled "Active Allocation of Smart Beta Indices based on Factor Timing and Regime Switching".

Marie Dumas was awarded the prize for her research on "Activity on Social Media and abnormal returns: analysis of Tweet posting patterns." In her research paper, Marie evaluates the importance of Social Media and its impact on market returns.

Elsa Fernandez and Lucie Dardart were awarded Best Thesis on Family Firms for their research entitled "How does the analysis of French Firms’ performance during the 2008-2012 recession reveal the existence of several forms of Family Firms and affect the performance gap with Non-Family Firms? "
