Anne Bouttier first detailed her main missions to MSc in Marketing Management students, which are the development of add sales on a global scale, the elaboration of sales strategy in terms of pricing and partnerships, the negotiation of contracts, and the coordination and management of the sales team not forgetting revenue reporting.
She then introduced Dailymotion, a major video online destination with a service in 35 languages with a growing audience worldwide (+24% for the January-October 2013 period). She presented the market and its main competitors. She explained how Dailymotion is differentiating itself in terms of premium contents, editorialization, advertising flexibility and creativity.
She went on discussing the different business models in the industry and explained Dailymotion’s business model. To conclude her presentation, Anne Bouttier challenged and debated with students about “what makes a digital add appealing?”
