“Today, a campus is not only a place where we study; it is also a place of exchange, open to the outside world. We have created a campus that is open to the public, to businesses, to entrepreneurs, to projects in association with the school, and with events and conferences open to everyone,” said EDHEC Business School Dean Olivier Oger.
EDHEC Business School is proud to celebrate the official inauguration of the addition to its Nice campus, a 17 million euro investment that will provide more classroom space, new meeting rooms, a state-of-the-art library, as well as a learning and media centre.
More than 500 members of the EDHEC community gathered 18 December to mark this important moment in the history of EDHEC Business School and to appreciate the stunning contemporary design and architectural details of the new addition. The addition was designed by Jean-Philippe Cabane of Cabinet ABC Architect, and brings the total size of the campus up to 20,000 m².
Present at the inauguration ceremony were Christian Estrosi, MP, Mayor of Nice and President of the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur, Eric Ciotti, MP and President of the Conseil général des Alpes Maritimes, Richard Simonin, President of the Board of Governors of EDHEC Business School as well as Olivier Oger, Dean.
The Nice campus has long been a strong EDHEC selling point: It is located in a city with an international reputation for culture and enterprise, and it sits on the edge of the Côte d’Azur. The campus also features a state-of-the-art gym, music rooms, beautiful amphitheatres with views of the bay, and private study cubicles equipped with PCs and Wi-Fi.
