Companies don’t pass up opportunities to introduce their activities, as well as their internship and job opportunities, to our students. Recruitment Days, an ideal such opportunity, are regularly held on our campuses in Lille, Nice, and Paris. Companies in particular industries come for a one-, two-, or three-day period specifically to recruit EDHEC students. These events are tailored to companies’ needs (for example, Chanel with internship offers to M1 students).
Students interested in a particular industry or company register with the EDHEC Career Centre, which centralises CVs; on company request, an initial screening is done.
Many companies, such as Accor, Chanel, Oxylane China, Yves Rocher, Henkel, PepsiCo, P&G, Unilever, JP Morgan, Eurostar, L'Oréal, Coca-Cola, Ernst & Young, Samsung, Adfinitas, Auchan, and many others, are loyal visitors to our campuses.
The Audit Recruitment Day held in Nice in early March, for example, drew Ernst & Young, Deloitte, KPMG Audit, Grant Thornton, and PwC. More than fifty students went through the entire range of assessment activities on campus: company presentations, group exercises, tests, and interviews.
"These Recruitment Days that are specific to a given industry or company makes it possible to optimise hiring by matching student backgrounds (motivation and interest in the company) as closely as possible to employers' selection criteria. These methods also make it possible to prepare students as well as possible for the particularities of recruiting in specific industries (assessment centre, tests, interviews, and so on).
