EDHEC Rendez-vous 2015: Celebrating alumni ties

Written on 22 June 2015.

The theme of the 2015 EDHEC Rendez-vous was “Thrive Differently.”Events in the 10 largest cities featured prestigious speakers, including successful EDHEC alumni. In Paris, there was business speaker Florence Servan-Schreiber; in London, there was EDHEC alumna and e-commerce entrepreneur Béatrice de Montille; and in Vevey, Switzerland, there was EDHEC alumnus Laurent Freixe, Executive Vice President of Nestlé. Another important moment was the EDHEC alumni awards ceremony in Paris. Recipients this year were:

  • Entrepreneur of the Year: Christian Raissan (Master 1994) and Philippe de Chanville (Master 2003), co-founders of monEchelle.fr

EDHEC RDV venues exemplified the innovative spirit and diversity of the EDHEC alumni network. While alumni in Paris opted for a nightclub, alumni in Lyon held their event at the local rugby stadium. In Nice and Montpellier, the obvious choice was to share a meal by the water’s edge. Other alumni groups looked skywards: in Dublin, New York and Dubai, rooftop gardens and restaurants were chosen to host the event. EDHEC’s Belgian alumni met in a renovated Airstream caravan!
