EDHEC signs a partnership agreement with the Marine Nationale to train future leaders in management “under stress”

Written on 26 April 2012.

Each year the classes of the Advanced Management Program will attend a seminar on management “under stress” at sea on board one of the Navy’s ships. The objective: to acquire and compare management methods under stress and to be outside of one’s comfort zone in an unfamiliar environment in order to become more familiar with oneself. In exchange EDHEC’s AMP program on the Paris campus will be attended by a high-ranking officer.

Jean Louis Reynaud, the AMP Program Director, said, “This is a unique exchange opportunity that will make it possible to expose AMP Program participants to different forms of management. And for the Marine National, it will provide the opportunity to establish solid relations with the world f business leaders.”

Beginning in May, the 2012 AMP Program class will join naval officer candidates on board the Dixmude, a Landing Helicopter Dock.
