Bloomberg Aptitude Test
Kirill Fedyunin from Russia ranks 4th in the top 5 Europe, Middle East & Africa performers of the February’s Bloomberg Aptitude Test ranking.
The Bloomberg Aptitude Test ‘BAT’ is a global standardised online exam assessing participants’ abilities as critical thinker. By sitting this exam, they showcase their strengths and competencies in eight key areas: economics, analytical reasoning, financial statements analysis, investment banking, global markets, maths skills, news analysis; and chart and graph analysis.
The BAT offers participants a unique insight into their suitability for careers in finance or business. The test also helps students and recent graduates connect with financial recruiters worldwide. Indeed, after taking the test, students can enter their scores anonymously in the BAT Talent Search. This tool is used by many recruiters to identify and contact talented candidates for entry-level positions.
The BAT is not only a test; it is also an innovative recruitment platform for candidates wishing to enter the finance and investment industry worldwide.
"I chose to sit the Bloomberg Aptitude Test when I saw the reference in my friend’s resume about the test. I was very happy to know that our university provides the opportunity to take the BAT test free on campus, because usually it is not free and costs 39 US dollars for individual exam. I prepared for the test by downloading the sample questions from Bloomberg site. In my opinion, Bloomberg Aptitude Test is an excellent opportunity for the student to prove the financial knowledge, recognizable by potential employers (one from the United States has already contacted me via internal Bloomber platform for employers). The main function of the test as I see it is to enrich the applicant's resume." Kirill Fedyunin (Russia) MSc in Corporate Finance & Banking student.
