EDHEC students win top spots in mediation competition

Written on 29 April 2014.

Congratulations to EDHEC LLM Law & Tax Management students Victoria Godefrood, Clément Mazet-Sonilhac and Paul Tecklenburg for placing among the top five in the Concours International Francophone de Médiation, which was organised by the CMPA (Centre de Médiation et d’Arbitrage de Paris) March 17, 18, 19 and 20.

The EDHEC team beat out other student teams from law and business schools from France, Belgium and Switzerland. The competition was open to French-speaking law students and tested students’ legal knowledge through challenging simulated mediation sessions.

“Bravo to our brilliant EDHEC students for their incredible performance and for permitting EDHEC to have such remarkable results among a field of formidable competitors,” said Christophe Roquilly, director of the LegalEdhec Research Centre and co-director of the LLM Law & Tax Management programme.
