The purpose of the conference was to bring business school communication and marketing leaders together with top journalists and editors to find new ways to share and promote business research. The conference focused on the French media market and included journalists from Le Figaro, Le Monde, France24, L’Express and Les Echos. International media outlets such as The Economist, Bloomberg and the Wall Street Journal were also represented.
Event organisers Kiki Keating, founder of the Kiki Network, and Matt Symonds, chief editor of MBA50.com, invited EDHEC Dean for Faculty and Research Christophe Roquilly and Director of Communications Stéphanie Cocquet to talk about how EDHEC disseminates and promotes its business research. Benoit Arnaud, Director EDHEC Executive, MBAs and Executive Education, welcomed the group.
Business schools represented at the conference included Esade Business School (Spain), ESSEC Business School, HEC Paris, the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia (USA), the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University (the Netherlands), and the Graduate School of Management at the University of St. Petersburg (Russia).
