“Employees and employers: a need for a new pact in workplace relationships?”

Written on 12 December 2011.

Sylvie Deffayet, Head of the Chair, moderated the debate which was able to draw on their professional experience and the findings of recent studies of worker/employer relationships presented by Pascale Portères (Vice President, BPI Group) to provide insight into this highly topical subject.

Olivier Beddeleem, Professor in the Law Department at EDHEC, gave the gathering a complementary legal view of their remarks and of trends in current practice. The audience actively contributed to the discussion; the direct and genuine tone of the exchanges allowed a certain number of new options and directions for exploring to be identified, which would, moreover, be compatible with the constraints imposed by today's unfavourable economic climate.

Another thought-provoking and inspiring event in line with the aims of the Chair to offer new perspectives for developing leadership and managerial competencies!
