Partner Companies Intensifie their Presences on Campus

Throughout the year, companies have been involved in pedagogical activities and support research activities. Some companies have decided to strengthen further their partnership with EDHEC by becoming Corporate Programme Sponsors such Capgemini Consulting, PwC, Société Générale and Unilever. To foster better links and exchanges that companies have with students, EDHEC has put in place various events:

1 Hour – One Company
These seminars enable companies to present their activities to students. They also include information about job and internship opportunities. This year’s participating companies included among others:

Job Conferences
These conferences, usually made of EDHEC Alumni, are a good opportunity for students to discover a specific trade. Organised by themes, these one-day sessions include theoretical courses related to the topic, roundtable and a forum where students, alumni and practitioners can exchange. Recruitment Sessions
The sessions offer a unique opportunity for companies to advertise their job and internship offers to targeted EDHEC students. EDHEC centralises all the applications received and contacts directly students who have been shortlisted by companies. The school also hosts and organises interviews either on campus or by videoconferences.Companies that have already recruited EDHEC students this year include among others:

These seminars allow students and companies to connect through skills workshops.

Open Innovation Workshop
As part of EDHEC’s commitment to educate tomorrow’s leaders, this seminar is dedicated to developing the skills needed for business innovation, the key to current and future success. Partner companies are actively involved in the curriculum and are encouraged to deliver materials for business cases such as:

BETC Digital, BNP Paribas, Décathlon, Groupe Casino, Groupe SEB, Groupon, HappyChic, Lactalis Nestlé, Michelin, Orange, Passionata, Sony, Tata Communications, Tropicana, Unilever and Viadeo.

Negotiation Workshop
During roundtables, interactive sessions and simulations designed with EDHEC partner companies, students get to the bottom of what commercial functions are and discover the complex dynamics involved in the negotiation process. Participating companies include:

AXA, Carrefour, Danone, Air Liquide, Brico Dépôt, Lactalis, Mars Inc., Nestlé, Unilever, Auchan, Lyreco and Procter & Gamble.

Recruitment Simulation Workshop
By taking part in EDHEC assessment workshops, companies enable EDHEC students to put themselves to test in close-to-life simulations that prepare them to enter the job market. At the same time, companies are given an excellent leverage to spot young talents prior to graduation.
