President & CEO of GARP on EDHEC Nice Campus

Written on 08 December 2014.

Richard Apostolik discussed "risk issues in an interconnected world" by introducing today’s financial world, its practical realities and the key challenges it has to face.

Mr Apostolik then detailled GARP’s recommendations for the industry, along with tools put in place by the association to respond to global risks and key initiatives.

These included the Global Risk Forums and GARP Benchmarking Initiative (GBI), for the market to better understand how banks measure risk.

As a reminder, EDHEC students enrolled in the MSc in Financial Markets and MSc in Risk & Finance can prepare for the Part I exam of the GARP's Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
