Students benefit from the EDHEC Business Club

Written on 11 December 2014.

The EDHEC Business Club creates links between companies and EDHEC’s roughly 6,000 students. Members of the club include international brands such as Auchan France, the Carrefour Groupe, and La Poste. These companies participate in EDHEC job fairs and recruitment events in partnership with the school’s Career Centre, the home of the unique Career Identification & Talent Identification programme.

The largest recruitment event of the year is the EDHEC Forum, which brings together roughly 1,500 EDHEC students and the representatives of more than 100 global brands and corporations. During the event, students meet with company representatives to talk about internship and job openings, but also to get a better understanding of company strategy and goals. It’s an event that is always greatly anticipated by students and recruiters alike. This year’s Forum will be held 9 January in Paris.

The annual EDHEC Finance Career Day is also an important recruiting event for EDHEC students. The event brings together dozens of top financial institutions looking to recruit for internships and jobs. This event allows students to meet face-to-face with recruiters and to make strong connections that often lead to interesting and exciting employment opportunities.

Besides recruitment, EDHEC Business Club members participate in classroom lectures and course preparation. Co-production of courses or learning experiences is what sets EDHEC’s pedagogical model apart from other schools. It is our way of ensuring that our students are “business-ready”– a promise that our 120 business partners greatly appreciate.
