102 students enrolled in the MSc in Marketing Management have started their academic year! On September 5th, they were welcomed by Unilever, our Corporate Programme Sponsor. Nicolas Liabeuf, vice-president Brand Building Unilever France, gave a thought-provoking speech that emphasises several business challenges: development of new ways of communication such as social media and experiential marketing events (example of Magnum experience pop-up stores where customers can design their own Magnum ice cream); how to bring strong value to consumers with the example of the axe boat events in Paris; CSR Unilever engagement where the company is looking for new ways of doing business with the aim of doubling the size of its activities while reducing the environmental impact.
Natacha Rapacchi, Talent Manager Unilever France, then introduced its graduate programme “Unilever Future Leaders Programme” consisting on a rotation of three jobs in three years, with one compulsory rotation in sales. The other rotations can be done in brand development, brand building, category management, etc. Ms Rapacchi encouraged students to visit the Unilever career website to learn more about this graduate programme.
The opening day ended with a cocktail reception where enthusiastic discussions between students and Unilever guests took place.
