These corporate sponsorships reflect EDHEC’s excellent global standing for business relevant research, management training, and career development, as well as its innovative pedagogical approach: one that taps the expertise of business leaders for course development and case studies that link the classroom and the boardroom.
Corporate sponsors of the EDHEC Masters of Science in Financial Economics include PwC, Société Générale and SwissLife Asset Managers. As a result of the partnership with SwissLife AM, CEO AM Business Jean-Pierre Grimaud gave the inaugural lecture of the EDHEC MSc in Risk & Finance on EDHEC’s London campus and then met with students to talk about their studies and career aspirations.
Likewise, the EDHEC Masters of Science in Business Management offers corporate sponsorships with small appliance consortium Groupe SEB, retailer Carrefour, consumer goods producer Unilever, and strategy consulting company Capgemini Consulting. EDHEC officials signed the partnership with Groupe SEB Senior Vice-President for Europe Luc Gaudemard, an EDHEC alumnus, in October 2014 before 100 EDHEC MSc in Marketing Management students representing dozens of nations. During his discussion with students, Mr. Gaudemard urged them to be curious, to call themselves into question, and to cultivate their "hunger" to learn throughout their career.
