Peter Daly, PhD, is Associate Professor and Director of the MSc in Management Studies and Head of Business Communication & Language Studies at EDHEC Business School. He teaches managerial communication and gives seminars on management styles, recruitment, creativity and team-building. His research interests include teaching and management learning in higher education, pedagogy and discourse analysis, areas on which he has presented papers at international conferences. Peter Daly has an international background and speaks Irish, English, French and German fluently. After studying German, French, Spanish and English, Professor Daly studied communication and linguistics before taking up a position at the University of Bayreuth (Germany). In parallel to this job, he obtained a postgraduate degree in online pedagogy. He also received a doctorate in higher education focusing on social, institutional and self-study discourses of apprentices in companies. He is currently studying to obtain a University Diploma in Human Relations (Ducerh).
