Bio

Anja Duranovic is a PhD student and a research assistant at EDHEC Business School and EDHEC-Risk and Climate Impact Institute, in Nice. Under the supervision of Professor Irene Monasterolo, she contributes to the research in the field of embedding climate change into the financial risk assessment of financial institutions. Anja worked on the development of a financial database model of EU investors’ exposures to extra EU firms and countries. She works on the assessment of publicly listed companies’ climate transition and physical climate risk, based on their energy technology and ownership of productive assets. Anja also performs research on universal investors’ strategic responses to climate change. Prior to joining EDHEC Business School, Anja worked as a project staff member on the EU H2020 CASCADES project at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU). Anja holds a BA and a Master in Economics from WU.
